WW1 Rare Antique ST. DUNSTANS tray Brass Handle

Made by ST Dunstan’s HOSPITAL FOR BLIND VETERANS SOLDIER. Handle was originally part of a LARGE WOOD TRAY.

Sold as 2 handles, no tray.

St Dunstan’s was Established In 1915 by Sir Arthur Pearson who had himself lost his sight through glaucoma, Having heard of The many soldiers coming back from the front blind or partially sighted, he set up, St. Dunstan’s to help veterans lead independent and fulfilling lives, Men were retrained in crafts, woodwork and Massage, This tray is 1 of the items made by these heroes A large tray with brass handles which have the St Dunstan’s logo, In good vintage condition
